JESSE ZIMMERMAN is now vice president of commercial lines at MAPFRE USA, a personal and commercial auto writer and home insurer based in Webster. Zimmerman, who has 20 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, will be in charge of MAPFRE’s commercial lines strategy in Massachusetts, where he will look for opportunities to strengthen the company’s position in commercial auto and grow its commercial property business. He has previously worked at Travelers Insurance, the Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., and Allstate. 

FORCHILLI

HEATHER FORCHILLI, Northborough branch manager of Central One Federal Credit Union, was named the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Young Business Professional of the Year. The award recognizes a young business professional in the chamber who exemplifies leadership, professional accomplishments, and volunteer service. Forchilli has been with Central One since 2015, and has been promoted from senior teller to branch manager because of her work ethic and passion for providing good service. She is active with the chamber as co-chair of the Tuesday Referral Group, as a member of Business Forward Females, as a volunteer for the chamber’s Community Service Day and golf tournament, and as chair of its Young Professionals Business Group. She ran the 125th Boston Marathon, raising money for the UMass ALS Cellucci Fund.

ALICIA HADDAD, founder of Alicia’s Spice Co. in Worcester, received an Andrea C. Silbert Rising Star Award from the Center for Women and Enterprise in Boston. The award is given out annually to a small business economically empowered because of its relationship to the center. This year, awards were given out to representatives from each of the center’s five Women Business Centers. Haddad’s company was founded in 2015 and makes all-natural, gluten-free, kosher, keto, and vegan spices.

Country Bank, based in Ware with branches throughout Central Massachusetts, has appointed 16 new corporators. GRACE BARONE, a resident of Ludlow, is the executive director of the East of the River Five Town Chamber of Commerce. KELLY TUFARO BARTHOLOMEW is a certified public accountant at Marcum LLP and a Holden resident. HEATHER BEAN lives in Hampden and is an ecommerce information technology project manager/tech expert at Nestle. ASHLEY CLARK, a resident of Ware, is the vice president of marketing and sales at Quirk Wire Company, Inc. in West Brookfield. DEBRA CUSSON is the owner of Spartan Auto Care Center and a Hampden resident. KESHAWN DODDS is the executive director of the Boys & Girls Club Family Center and a Springfield resident. ANTHONY FRASCO is vice president of corporate sales and marketing at Quality Beverage and a Southwick resident. IVON GOIS lives in Worcester and works as president of Gois Broadcasting. RUSSELL HAIMS is a Worcester resident and the owner and real estate investor at Hampton Properties, LLC. CHERISA HERNANDEZ lives in Oxford and serves as a middle/secondary clinical professor at Worcester State University. AMIE MIARECKI is the executive director at Christopher Heights of Belchertown assisted living facility and lives in East Longmeadow. RICHARD MORRIS Jr. is the chief information officer at Linedata and a Sudbury resident. CHARLES NORTON is the president of Franklin Realty Advisors, Inc. and a resident of Dover. JASMINE JINA ORTIZ is the founder and principal CEO at HestiaLIVING and a resident of Worcester. JOSEPH SEARLES lives in Southwick and is president of International Container Company LLC. ERIN WYNNE lives in Hardwick and is the assistant head of school for institutional advancement at Eagle Hill School in Hardwick.

Rollstone Bank & Trust in Fitchburg promoted four employees. SUZANNE PANAGOPOULOS has been promoted to chief compliance officer, a new position at the bank. She has been with Rollstone since 2017, when she started in the retail division. CHRISTOPHER CONNORS is now vice president – relationship banking officer. He has more than 25 years of industry experience, with a focus on business development. Connors started with the bank four years ago in the retail division. ROBERT COURTEMANCHE, who has been with the bank since 2011, is now vice president – loan servicing officer. He held roles in the retail and credit departments before moving to oversee the loan servicing department. PETER ST. GEORGE, an 11-year veteran of the bank, has been promoted to trust investment officer. St. George has been in the financial services industry since 2008.
