Sgt. LAUREN L. MISALE has been appointed chief of Clark University police department in Worcester. Misale received her undergraduate degree from Curry College in Massachusetts in 2006 and her master’s degree in public administration from Clark in 2012. Misale joined the department in 2008 and was appointed to sergeant in 2013. She has served as an adjunct professor at various colleges.

MELISSA FETTERHOFF has been named the chair of the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. She is the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce president and CEO. Fetterhoff has been a member of NEACCE since 2007 and has been on the board of directors since 2015. 

GOODWINE

ERIC GOODWINE has joined Ware-based Country Bank in its commercial lending division. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University in Waltham. He has been in the industry for eight years and joins Country Bank from J.P. Morgan.

Westborough accounting firm AAFCPAs announced managing partner CARLA MCCALL has been named one of 2020’s Most Powerful Women in the Accounting Profession by the American Institute of CPAs. The list names 25 women annually who are helping to advance the accounting profession. 

HOLMAN

ILENE HOLMAN has joined Commonwealth Consulting Group in Worcester as an account manager. She has three years of experience in credit card processing and payroll services and specializes in merchant services and business-to-business sales. In her new role, she will assist clients with their merchant services and ATM needs, including account creation, setup and installation, technical support and customer service.

College of the Holy Cross in Worcester has appointed CORNELL B. LESANE II as its inaugural vice provost for enrollment management. He will oversee both admissions and financial aid. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Hampton University in Virginia and a master of public management, with a focus in higher education leadership, from Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. LeSane has 20 years of experience and was the vice president for enrollment and dean of admissions at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. 

HALLIGAN

UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester welcomes three new doctors. Dr. RICARDO AULET, an otolaryngologist, earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Medford. He completed his residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center and completed a fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida. Dr. Aulet specializes in otolaryngology at the UMass Memorial Medical Center’s University Campus. Dr. KYLE HALLIGAN is a pulmonologist. He earned his medical degree from the University College in Ireland. He completed an internal medicine residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Boston and a fellowship at the UMass Medical School in Worcester. Dr. Halligan specializes in medicine/pulmonary/critical care/eICU at UMass Memorial Medical Center’s University Campus. Dr. KATHERINE JOHNSON, an obstetric gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine physician, earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed her residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and a fellowship at the same center. Dr. Johnson specializes in obstetrics and gynecology/maternal-fetal medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

The Discovery Museum in Acton has appointed two new members to its board of directors. UMAIR ZIA is director of electric distribution engineering for Massachusetts utility company Eversource Energy. He earned a master’s degree in systems engineering, a graduate certificate in mechanical engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, all from the University of Maryland. VIBHA OZA of Acton holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and a postdoctoral fellowship in medicinal chemistry. She has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry focusing mainly on oncology research and development.
