Amigud joined AAFCPAs in 2016 as a senior tax manager and was recently promoted to tax partner where she will advise multinational clients on the implications of cross-border transactions. Huxley was hired as a partner. He has 15 years of public accounting experience and specialization in employee benefit plan audit and consulting to help clients manage their 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Fletcher Tilton PC of Worcester elected MICHAEL BRANGWYNNE as the law firm’s new officer. Brangwynne has extensive experience handling personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death litigation. Additionally, Brangwynne represents clients in the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, package stores, and alcoholic beverage manufacturers and distributors.
AXIOM Learning Solutions in Westborough appointed SCOTT RUTHERFORD as its vice president of marketing. Rutherford is the first person to hold the role of marketing vice president at the firm and will report to AXIOM’s president, Herb Blanchard. Before joining AXIOM, Rutherford served as director of marketing for the Produce Marketing Association, where he was responsible for the development and execution of a virtual event series. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications from Emerson College, an MBA from Babson College, and is a certified professional in training management.
STEPHEN OSEI-BONSU, manager of race equity for Open Sky Community Services in Worcester, received a scholarship during the Providers’ Council’s 46th annual Convention & Expo. He was selected as the first recipient of the council’s Foreign-Born Leader Scholarship, given in partnership with the African Bridge Network. Osei-Bonsu is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at William James College in Newton.
GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner promoted GINA VECCHI to assistant vice president/retail mortgage originator. Vecchi began her career with GFA in 2014 as a part-time teller and worked her way up through various promotions including member service supervisor in 2015, assistant branch manager in 2018, and retail mortgage originator in 2019. Additionally, Vecchi received the Rising Star Award and is a member of GFA’s new Leadership Education and Development Program.
Open Sky Community Services, a Worcester nonprofit organization, appointed RENN DUFFEY as director of Safe Homes, a program for LGBTQIA+ youth between the ages of 14 and 23. Duffey will replace Laura Farnsworth, who recently announced her retirement. They received Safe Homes services as a teenager and previously held the position of Safe Homes North program coordinator. They are a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, receiving a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in women, gender, and sexuality studies.
Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey announced the hiring of two new staff members, who will bolster the firm’s higher education group. BRIGID HARRINGTON is of counsel in the firm’s employment and labor practice. Harrington will partner with the firm’s other new hire, CHELSIE VOKES, who will lead the firm’s sexual misconduct and discrimination practice including Title IX counseling, compliance, policymaking, investigations, and service on hearing panels.
Dr. ANDREY SAYKO was hired as a family medicine physician by Harrington Physician Services’ Family Medicine practice in Southbridge. Sayko, a native of the Ukraine, received his medical degree from Lviv State Medical Institute and completed his fellowship at Zaporozhyte Institute of Advanced Postgraduate Studies in Ukraine. He then completed his residency at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in western New York.
MutualOne Bank, headquartered in Framingham, promoted three: RAHNUMA HABIB of Hopkinton joined MutualOne in 1998, and served as vice president of human resources before being promoted to senior vice president of human resources; CAROL SOMERS of Rosindale joined the bank in 2016, serving as a loan servicing supervisor before being promoted to loan servicing manager; YVES MUNYANKINDI of Framingham became a retail support/foundation administrator in 2015 and was promoted to retail support manager.

Abbatiello’s fellowship represents achievement of the highest standard of professional development. In order to be selected, candidates had to fulfill multiple requirements, meet academic/experiential criteria, and pass a comprehensive examination.
The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce welcomed STEVE MESSINEO as board chair for 2022. Messineo is a business development officer for Citara Systems, an IT service provider in Marlborough. Previously, Messineo owned All-Access Physical Therapy, Inc. in Sterling, which was sold in 2020.
