Netezza Turns The Corner
Netezza Corp. of Marlborough had a profit of $2.1 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2009, compared with a $1.9 million loss for the same period last year.
Netezza, a data storage and analysis company, has reported net losses for each of the last five years.
In the first quarter, the company increased its total revenue by 56 percent, to $39.6 million. It also raised its revenue guidance for fiscal 2009 to $172 million from the previous level of $165-$168 million.
