Worcester Business Journal is seeking award nominations of notable executives with military experience for its Focus on Veterans in Business edition.

WBJ’s new veterans in business section will highlight professionals who served in the country’s active military, naval, or air service before taking on their senior-level roles at Central Massachusetts businesses, and who were discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable.

Nominees should come from for-profit or nonprofit companies with a revenue of at least $1 million.

Additionally, honorees must have at least 10 years of experience in their field, made substantial contributions to advance issues impacting veterans in the workplace or region, acted as a role model or mentor for veterans, and be involved in other community service organizations or initiatives.

Nominations must be submitted here by Sept. 26.

This special editorial issue will be released digitally on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 and will be published in print on Nov. 17.
