Northborough moving company expands into Auburn with $2.8M purchase

A Northborough moving company will move into the industrial space at 15 Saint Mark St. in Auburn.

The operators of New World Van Lines sold its Massachusetts corporate office in Auburn for $2.8 million in a deal closed Thursday, said Andrew Murray of A. Murray Real Estate, LLC, who was the sole broker in the transaction.
Located at 15 St. Mark St. in Auburn, the 34,147-square-foot warehouse has been the home of Chicago-based trucking service New World Van Lines. The firm is moving its Massachusetts office out of Auburn, said Murray.
The buyer was DN Van Lines, a Northborough-based moving company with several locations in Massachusetts, as well as Florida and Virginia, according to its website.
The Town of Auburn assesses the property, which is 2.5 acres, at $1.5 million.
