Out-of-state buyers pay $2.6M for Millbury storage site

A self-storage site on Providence Street in Millbury has sold to buyers in New York and Ohio.
The Millbury Self Storage site, whose sale closed Dec. 31, is now owned by George Hristodoulou of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jeffrey Iacco of Cleveland. It was sold by a firm registered to George Stanton of Millbury.
The 7.5-acre site, at 147 Providence St. on the Sutton town line, last sold for $100,000, a year before the storage buildings were built. It was last assessed by the Town of Millbury at $2.6 million.
