Rail Group Adds Member Category

The Massachusetts Railroad Association has added a new membership category, "associate member," to the organization.
The association said the addition of the new category is part of an effort to expand the ranks of the organization. It is also recognizes that "freight railroads touch a surprisingly large number of other industries and businesses," the association said.
Associate members can join the group for an annual fee of $500.
The association represents several Massachusetts railroads, including Providence & Worcester Railroad, Grafton & Upton Railroad and East Brookfield & Spencer Railroad.
