Reliant Medical Group recognized for cardiovascular disease management

Reliant Medical Group of Worcester has been recognized by the American Heart Association for gold-level achievement in three clinical quality programs related to reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke, the healthcare provider announced on Monday.
This is the second year in a row Reliant has received this distinction.
Reliant was specifically recognized for its management of patient blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol.
“Reliant is honored to be recognized for the important work we do in helping patients manage the key risk factors that cause heart attacks, stroke and other cardiovascular problems,” said Tarek Elsawy, president and CEO of Reliant Medical Group, in a statement. “This care is essential to improving our patients’ health and helping them to avoid exacerbation of these serious conditions.”
