Robotics industry publisher bought

EH Publishing, a Framingham publisher of audio, video and networking technology media has completed the acquisition of Upton-based Robotics Trends Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
Robotics Trends is an integrated media company in the robotic industry and produces several conferences and expositions. It also publishes the Robotics Trends news and information portal online and the Robotics Trends Insights newsletter.
The acquisition expands EH Publishing's focus beyond audio, video and network technology.
Dan Kara, president and founder of Robotics Trends, will become president of the robotics division of EH Publishing at its home office in Framingham.
The robotics industry has a presence in the first responder, security, defense, transportation, medical and consumer markets.
EH Publishing was founded in 1994, and is focused on the technology and construction markets.
