Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. Very well. My co-workers have been great in welcoming me aboard. There is an excellent sense of camaraderie and plenty of positive energy to go around. I look forward to being a part of the continued success of Marlborough Savings Bank in maintaining and growing strong relationships with our customers.

Q. What's the biggest surprise you've had in starting the job?

A. The level of professionalism I've experienced. I've worked for some great companies as well as managers, but I have to say that I have yet to experience a welcoming like this.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. I feel the market is still the biggest challenge we all face, but with our extensive options for mortgage products we are positioned to fulfill just about any lending request.

Q. How different is this job from your previous position?
A. This job is very similar to my previous position, but I will have more responsibility and be a larger part of the success.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. I don't know that I can say I knew for certain what I would be doing for a career. I do know that I always wanted to be part of a team and I always enjoyed helping people realize and achieve their goals.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A. I have to be honest, I'm still green to the area as far as lunch goes, but I have been to Bumpy's Main Street Café several times and had both great meals and service every time.

Q. What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
A. If we are talking about the same time of year, I'll say I hope to be on an island with my family enjoying some warm weather.
