Worcester dessert manufacturer Table Talk Pies has broken ground on a 27,000-square-foot cold-store facility next to its Southgate Street facility.
The freezer building will help the company centralize the storage of its ingredients and finished goods rather than store products at cold-storage facilities off site in Uxbridge, Westfield, Worcester and Philadelphia.
The building is being constructed by Indiana-based Tippmann Innovation.
Table Talk’s facility, built in 2017, recently began operating at full capacity after installing a second production line.
The cold-store project broke ground last month and is expected to be complete in nine months, according to Tippmann.
