Third-generation Shrewsbury Street auto body shop closes, new biz to move in

The future location of Auto Glass Now on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester
Sam’s Auto Body, Inc. in Worcester has closed up shop and will lease its space to a national glass company.
The Dahrooge family, owners of Sam’s, will retire but retain ownership of the property at 318-322 Shrewsbury St., according to Thomas Bodden, vice president at Worcester real estate firm Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates.
The 5,000-square-foot garage and office space will be leased by a California-based national chain, Auto Glass Now. Bodden and Kelleher & Sadowsky Principal Will Kelleher brokered the deal and refinanced the property.
The Worcester shop will be Auto Glass Now’s first Massachusetts location.
