Tower Hill promotes Theresa Lee to chief development officer

Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston has promoted Theresa Lee as the nonprofit's new chief development officer.
Lee joined Tower Hill in 2020 as manager of philanthropic engagement and most recently served as interim director of development, according to an announcement dated Nov. 18.
She will be tasked with leading a $28-million capital campaign at Tower Hill, aimed at expanded parking lots, accessible paths, and a new garden for children and families, which will be called The Ramble.
Lee, who lives in Northborough, previously held senior leadership positions at local colleges, including College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Boston College in Newton, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge.
Lee replaces André Gorgenyi, who left Tower Hill in early October.
