UMass Memorial - Marlborough Hospital announced Thursday it had ratified a new labor contract with the 219 members of the Massachusetts Nurses Association, who work as the hospital.

The contract will last for two years.

"The nurses settled a two-year agreement with UMass Memorial that extends all of the terms of their current contract for two more years, while also aligning wages with those at the Medical Center’s UMass Memorial campus," said Jennifer Johnson, MNA spokeswoman, in an email.

UMass and MNA did not provide any further details of the contract terms.

"Since the previous contract negotiations, we have had open discussions and addressed issues and concerns when they arose," said Steve Roach, president of UMass Memorial – Marlborough Hospital, in a press release. "This contract negotiation went smoothly due to the combined efforts of both sides while still keeping a strong focus on our patients and working to make Marlborough Hospital the best choice for health care in our region."

In May, nearly 1,400 union nurses at UMass Memorial Medical Center's University Campus in Worcester reached an agreement on a new contract both sides said gives 6.7% in pay raises over four years.
