UMass Med. Hires Chancellor Search Firm

The University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester has chosen Boston recruiting firm Isaacson Miller to help search for the school's next chancellor.
The school's 23-member chancellor search committee said it is making steady progress toward choosing a chancellor. Isaacson Miller was also a consultant for UMass Amherst's chancellor search. The committee plans to solicit input from people on campus and in the community before "beginning to develop the candidate pool."
The new chancellor will be a permanent replacement for Aaron Lazare, who stepped down last year. Michael F. Collins is currently the school's interim chancellor.
