Worcester bottler producing organic drink

A uniquely New England product -- an organic spritzer sweetened with maple syrup -- is now being produced in Worcester.

MapleMama Beverages of Wendell in the Pioneer Valley is having its latest product bottled at Ginseng Up at 15 Plum St. in Worcester, according to a representative for the company. The new drink is certified organic and offers up a number of antioxidants and minerals, according to a release from the company. The company’s initial products included Fair Trade Vanilla and Cold Brew Coffee.

Company co-founder Sara Schley said in a statement the move comes from consumer demand for drinks with healthy sweeteners.

The new product can be purchased at Whole Foods locations from western to eastern Massachusetts and into Vermont.
