Worcester pot shop approved for delivery

A retail cannabis shop planned for 76 Millbury St. received approval from the Worcester Planning Board on Wednesday to be able to deliver its products.
The planned shop, called Major Bloom, previously received regulatory approval from the city. On Wednesday, it got approval to expand beyond retail and manufacturing uses to also include delivery.
Major Bloom, which already sells apparel online, plans to open May 20.
Major Bloom was one of a few projects approved by the Planning Board, along with a Starbucks coffee shop with a drive-through proposed for a former Friendly's restaurant at 966 Grafton St. The former restaurant site is planned for a 2,250-square-foot Starbucks and a 1,949-square-foot retail shop.
