WPI and Clark requiring COVID boosters for all students and faculty

Worcester Polytechnic Institute announced Thursday it will now require all students, faculty, and staff to receive a vaccine booster against COVID-19, becoming the second Central Massachusetts college to require a booster.
Members of the WPI community must receive their booster by Jan. 18 or within 30 days of becoming eligible, which is six months after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the first dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Clark University in Worcester also requires a booster, according to its website. Clark held a booster clinic on Monday.
At this time, no other college in the region is requiring a booster, but most are strongly encouraging it, per their individual websites.
