Wayland Plaza Sold For $6.3M
Wayland Village Plaza, a retail center on Route 20 anchored by Whole Foods Market, has been sold to a New York-based Katz Properties, according to the registry of deeds.
The seller is the Wayland Group Realty Trust and Belmont-based trustee Henri Mehrez.
The 31,677-square-foot plaza is Katz’s second property in Massachusetts, according to its website. The other is in Stoughton.
Boston-based NAI Hunneman’s Investment Services Group represented the seller and procured the buyer, it said.
“Wayland Village Plaza garnered tremendous interest from multiple buyers due to the Whole Foods tenancy and its performance at this location, boasting one of the highest area store sales per square foot,” said Mitch Levey, an associate at NAI Hunneman.
