Spencer manufacturer of coated and laminated films FLEXcon Co., Inc. has hired a new chief financial officer the company hopes will develop a new financial strategy focused on lean manufacturing.
The company on Tuesday announced the hiring of Aimee Peacock, who held a similar job with Chelmsford-based Brooks Automation, where she helped the company’s life science division achieve 25-percent growth over three years, according to the FLEXcon announcement.
“Aimee will develop financial strategies, identify metrics and drive the ongoing development and monitoring of controls and systems,” the company said. “She is a 6-SIGMA green belt, bringing a good understanding of efficient systems throughout the enterprise.”
Former CFO Ethan Goldman will continue to serve as CFO of FLEXcon Holdings, its parent company.
