has been named training and development manager at Clinton Savings Bank. Prior to joining the bank, he was a senior training specialist at Middlesex Savings Bank in Natick.

TIMOTHY BARBERICH

will retire as an executive at Sepracor Inc. in Marlborough but will to continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors. He will also serve as an advisor to the company through December 2009.

Heinrich Ceramic Decal of Worcester has promoted

to senior vice president and general manager. Carroll has been with company for six years, previously holding the position of vice president of sales.

PATRICIA WEBB

recently joined UMass Memorial Health Care as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She joins UMass Memorial from Boston Medical Center, where she served as the vice president of human resources for the past decade.

Marlborough-based Environmental Fire Protection announced that its president,

, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Massachusetts Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors. He will assist the Massachusetts Chapter of ABC to advance by providing leadership, supporting the board's actions, as well as being responsible for the financial well-being of the organization.

ANTONIA MCGUIRE

has been hired as president and CEO of the Great Brook Valley Health Center Inc. McGuire is a registered nurse. For the past six years, she has served as the CEO of Manet Community Health Center in Quincy.

The Female Leadership Interest Council has appointed

LISA KIRBY GIBBS

as chair for the FLIC Educational Funding Taskforce to spearhead the council's efforts to help women of all ages develop and strengthen their foothold in the workplace. Gibbs is the owner of Highland-March Executive Suites in Westborough.

has been promoted to manager of the Shrewsbury branch office for investment firm Scottrade. Scottrade has seven branch offices in Massa-chusetts, including local branches in Shrewsbury and Natick.

has been named director of public relations and marketing at Worcester State College. Prior to joining Worcester State College, she was associate vice president of public affairs at Mount Wachusett Community College. She's also served as a congressional press secretary, a senate information officer and a radio newscaster.

MAUREEN ERICKSON

has been named director of institutional assessment at Worcester State College. Prior to joining Worcester State College, she served as a coordinator for curriculum and program development at Monroe Community College in New York.

has joined Marlborough Hospital to develop a diabetes outreach program. She is an assistant professor of medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School and on staff at the Department of Endocrinology at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

have been elected to the board of directors of Carroll Enterprises Inc. in Worcester. Carroll has also been named the company's CEO in addition to serving as president. Neuhauser is president of St. Michael's College in Vermont.

to vice presidents. Both Ransohoff and Jones joined the company in 2002. Prior to joining BioProcess Technology Consultants, Ransohoff held senior positions at TranXenoGen Inc. Jones has significant experience in discovery, product development, and strategic planning. She co-founded two biotechnology companies and has managed development programs in multiple disease areas. She previously held senior positions at Serenex Inc.

as vice president of commercial services and financial designer. Before joining Fidelity Bank, she was vice president of institutional services at Century Bank at its Worcester branch.

Marlborough-based Workscape Inc. has added

as vice president of North American sales for the compensation and performance solutions business unit. O'Grady has worked in the human resources and technology outsourcing industry for nearly 15 years, most recently as the senior vice president of sales and marketing at VitalSpring Technologies.

as director of marketing. Since 1999, he has served as director of marketing for DeWolff, Boberg and Associates, a management consulting firm where he recruited, trained and managed a sales team.
