Q: How are you settling in at your new office?
A: Very nicely. Charles River Bank prides itself as an institution defined by an incredibly cordial staff with a customer-centric focus, which works very diligently at creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff at the Mendon branch is just that and has been wonderful about welcoming me to their team.

Q: How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A: I always knew I wanted to go into a profession focused on helping people solve problems. As a financial consultant, my time is spent meeting with people to discuss their plans for the future and designing a strategy that will allow them to achieve their goals.

One of my hobbies is designing and building houses. In many ways, financial consulting can be viewed in much the same light. At our firm, we pride ourselves on being "financial architects" whose main objective is drafting financial blueprints for clients and building individualized plans for them that take into consideration all of their goals and objectives, then helping them implement those plans using strategies that will allow them to stay the course today and in the future.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Central Massachusetts?
A: Without a doubt, the people. I've worked in major metropolitan areas and while the hustle and bustle is invigorating, the people are generally a bit more reserved and less inviting. Out here, most folks are very warm, friendly and make working with them a truly enjoyable experience.

Q: How long is your commute to the office?
A: 20 minutes.

Q: What is the best way to keep your energy and motivation up when you are having a bad day?
A: It is very difficult to have a bad day when you love what you do and enjoy the people you work with! There are, of course, days when my energy levels are low and on those days I force myself to focus on what I need to get done so that I can get home to my kids who just naturally brighten my day.

Q: What's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A: The chicken panini from The Finest in Mendon is delicious.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

A: Most of my time outside of work is spent running my kids from one event to another, but when I do have free time I enjoy reading, cooking and all things Patriots.
