• Leominster-based Albright Technologies donated more than $5,000 in 2011 to charities that included Fitchburg-based Our Father's House; Ginny's Thrift Shop in Leominster; WHEAT Community Services in Clinton; and YOU Inc. of Worcester.
• Worcester-based Commerce Bank contributed hundreds of toys and a check for more than $2,300 to the Worcester County U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program in 2011.
• United Bank, with offices in Worcester, donated $2,500 to United Way of Central Massachusetts; $3,000 to the Worcester Education Collaborative; and $1,000 to Dress For Success Worcester.
