EClinical Awarded Grant To Aid Info Exchange
Westborough-based eClinicalWorks has landed a $150,000 grant to help hospitals and health-care organizations facilitate the exchange of information.
The technology provider for health care industry was one of 11 organizations that were awarded a combined $1.3 million in grants from the Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI), which helps advance the use of electronic health records on the commonwealth’s health information exchange (HIE), also called the Mass HIWay.
The grants were awarded to technology vendors that serve the health care industry, with preference given to vendors of products linked to electronic health records, clinical information systems and care management that support physicians in small practices, long-term care or behavioral health settings, according to a statement from MeHI.
