CHRISTINE HABERMANN was hired as director of marketing and events at Groton Wellness in Groton, a holistic dental and medical practice combined with a spa and café. Habermann most recently worked with companies in various industries directing sales, marketing, events and customer service. A graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., she also holds an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham.

DAVID J. TOBIN was hired by Whitinsville-based Alternatives Unlimited Inc., a network of 55 residential,

employment, day and outpatient counseling services, as director of clinical services. He was most recently affiliated with UMass Medical School. Tobin earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Rhode Island.

ELIZABETH FEE, CALVIN HILL, JULIE KANEB and JANE MOSAKOWSKI were elected to the board of trustees at Nativity School of Worcester. J. CHRISTOPHER COLLINS, GEORGE ELDRIDGE and MEG FLORENTINE were all re-elected to serve as chairman, treasurer and secretary, respectively. WILLIAM CONDRON was elected to his first term as an officer, serving as vice chairman. Fee, a Brookfield native, is a registered nurse who holds a nursing degree from Boston College. Hill is assistant to the president and director of Worcester State University's Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunity. Kaneb is an independent researcher and consultant and Mosakowsk is a community volunteer.

ROBERT ALARIO, SANDRA LaPOINTE, and LINDA CAMMUSO were elected to the Montachusett Estate and Retirement Planning Council. Alario and LaPointe, who will serve as president and treasurer, are from the office of Robert C. Alairo CPA in Worcester. Cammuso, vice president, is from Estate Preservation Law Offices in Worcester.

MICHAEL GUILFOYLE was hired as executive director of communications at Assumption College in Worcester, succeeding Renee Buisson, who accepted another position. For the past eight years, Guilfoyle served as secretary for public affairs and communications and chief spokesperson for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence. He also served in the U.S. Congress for eight years as director of communications and chief spokesperson for U.S. Rep. Jim Langevin and as press secretary to U.S. Rep. Robert Weygand, both of Rhode Island. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H.

MARY M. TINTI was hired as associate curator of the Fitchburg Art Museum. Since 2011, she has worked as the Koch Curatorial Fellow at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln. She has a bachelor's degree from Providence College and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

WENDI COMEY was hired as vice president of compliance at Savers Bank in Southbridge. She was most recently retail applications engineer at UniBank, and held various positions at Marlborough Savings Bank for more than 22 years before that, including branch administrator and vice president of operations. Comey is a resident of Westborough.

MIKE MURTHA, AMANDA PERKINS, PETER KELLY and ANDREW NAWN were hired and KRISTYN GALANTE promoted by the Worcester Sharks. Murtha was hired as a corporate account executive. He was previously marketing director at Murtha Construction. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. Perkins was hired as a ticket service specialist. She was previously an account executive for the Greenville Road Warriors. She is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Kelly, an account executive, previously worked as a ticket sales manager with the Providence Bruins. He is a graduate of Western New England University in Springfield. Nawn, an account executive, was formerly an intern with the Sharks. He has a bachelor's degree from Framingham State University. Galante, previously an account executive, was promoted to corporate & ticket sales account executive. She is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence.

MARK R. RIOLO was hired as center director for Grafton Job Corps. He was most recently center director of Exeter Job Corps in Rhode Island. A licensed public school administrator, he holds a graduate degree in educational leadership from Fitchburg State University.

GEORGE BACIGALUPO was promoted by Berkshire Bank, which has offices in Westborough, to executive vice president of commercial banking. He was previously senior vice president and chief credit officer. Prior to that, Bacigalupo worked for TD Banknorth as executive vice president of specialty lending.

NEIL ABRAMSON was appointed to the board of directors of the National Association of Resale and Thrift Shops. He is the founder of ECI Stores and owns and operates several Central Massachusetts consignment stores, including Cutie Patutie's in Leominster. Abramson is a graduate of Bentley University in Waltham.

DR. KELTON BURBANK was hired by Reliant Medical Group in Worcester in the department of orthopedic and reconstructive surgery/sports medicine in Leominster. He earned his medical degree from UMass Medical School in Worcester and completed fellowships at Lahey Clinic in Burlington and New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Dr. Burbank is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

ROY GRAVES was named credit administrator and collections officer at Athol Savings Bank. He was hired by the bank in June to work in the Winchendon office.

TONYA LAIRD was promoted to a branch manager position at North Brookfield Savings Bank. Previously an assistant branch manager, she will now head up the bank's North Brookfield/Gilbert Street location. Laird joined the bank in 2002 as a teller. She is a resident of North Brookfield.

KIMBERLY B. HEDLUND was hired and HEIDI E. DeLUCO was assigned to a new role by Digital Federal Credit Union. Hedlund is branch manager of the new branch in Fitchburg. She was most recently employed at Workers' Credit Union and has served in many roles within the Lunenburg Public Schools, including as a substitute teacher. DeLuco is an assistant branch manager of the new Fitchburg branch. She was most recently the assistant branch manager at the Shrewsbury Street branch in Worcester. She has been with the credit union since 2008.
