In an ongoing effort to appease federal regulators and move towards the acquisition of Office Depot, Framingham office retailer Staples has sold off a piece of its business for an undisclosed amount.

The sale was announced by Minnesota-based Taylor Corp. on Monday. The privately held company will take over the assets of Staples’ business printing services.

The move comes as Staples continues to push for the purchase of Office Depot amid anti-trust concerns by selling off different portions of the company and its contracts.
