Colder temperatures are not cooling the Massachusetts housing market.

Home sale agreements in October were up 15 percent over October 2015 and condo purchase and sale agreements were up 9 percent, according to data released Tuesday morning by the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.

The median price on a pending home sale in October was $355,778, up 6.2 percent from $335,000 in October 2015. The median price on condo sale agreements reached in October was $327,000, up 2.8 percent from $318,000 in October 2015.

The association's market confidence index stood at 70.2 on a 100-point scale with 100 representing a strongest market. The index rested at 73.3 in September and 77.8 in August. In October 2015 the confidence index registered a 65.5.
