An 8-acre site, a rare undeveloped property along Route 20 in south Worcester, has sold for $575,000.

The property, at 384 Southwest Cutoff, was sold to Joseph Shay Jr., according to Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, the real estate firm that brokered the deal.

The property is adjacent to a building housing Royale Care and Teamsters Local 170, and across from Howard Glass. It abuts Broad Meadow Brook conservation land owned by Mass Audubon.

The site, which is zoned for limited manufacturing use, was last sold for $500,000 in 2013 to Commerce Bank. The city has assessed the value of the site at $920,500.
