A new indoor cycling franchise is expected to open Nov. 1 in the Milford Crossing plaza on Route 109 in Milford.

CycleBar, based in Costa Mesa, Calif., will open in a 2,560-square-foot space in the newly renovated plaza next month, the franchise said in a press release.

The fitness franchise offers three course formats designed to give riders of all fitness levels a unique experience.

The Milford location is owned and operated by married couple John and Kiersten DiChiaro, a Century 21 Commonwealth real estate agent and human resources professional at Cambridge-based Moderna Therapeutics, respectively.

John Dichiaro has a background in biomanufacturing, according to a CycleBar press release and his LinkedIn profile.

The fitness studio is celebrating its opening week with free rides, and the first 100 memberships can be purchased at a discounted rate.

The plaza is now almost fully leased. Just an 8,000-square-foot space retail space and 831-square-foot office space remain empty in the 160,000-square-foot plaza.

The plaza’s anchors, TJ Maxx, Homegoods and Stop & Shop, opened in December 2017.
