Chelmsford healthcare textile importer moves to Acton

Magnus Textile, an importer and distributor, has moved to 43 Nagog Park in Acton.

Magnus Textile, an importer and distributor of textiles for the healthcare and hospitality industries, has moved to Acton from Chelmsford.

Magnus Textile has leased nearly 2,900 square feet at 43 Nagog Park in Acton, according to O'Brien Commercial Properties of Concord, which helped broker the deal. The company moved in Feb. 1, O'Brien said.

Magnus says it imports textiles from facilities in China and India, distributing patient gowns, nurse scrubs, blankets and other materials to the healthcare industry and sheets, towels and more to hotels and others in the hospitality industry.

The company says its founder and CEO, Dev Ramasubbu, was formerly a senior software engineer at Fidelity and founded Magnus Textile to bring the innovation he encountered in the software industry to commercial textiles.
