Westborough wholesaler BJ’s Wholesale Club is taking a page out of higher-end grocery stores and is now offering cheap wines from its exclusive brand.

The brand, Wellsley Farms, has recently released five new wines starting at just $6.99.

The five wines include a malbec from Argentina, a prosecco and pinot grigio from Italy, a cabernet sauvignon from California and a sauvignon blanc from New Zealand.

The wholesaler’s wine offerings are similar to that of other grocery stores, including Trade Joe’s, Whole Foods and Wegman’s.

BJ’s, now publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, has 216 clubs in 16 states, including six in Central Massachusetts. Of those locations, only locations in Northborough, Hudson and Franklin have a beer and wine department, according to the company's website.
