The owners of Bull Mansion, a 143-year-old function space in Worcester, are looking for investors to help make upgrades in the building and improve the business.

The property is listed for sale by real estate brokerage Kelleher & Sadowsky for $1.2 million, but current owners Victoria Mariano and Aditya Tibrewal still intend to run the business if real estate equity is sold.

"We want to have a partner on the property," Mariano told the WBJ on Thursday.

Mariano, a current owner of hookah bar Electric Haze and former owner of Spiritual Haze, said the pair have already invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into the property after acquiring it in 2016 for $488,000, but more can be done.

Those initial upgrades included fixing roof leaks, replacing damaged flooring, replacing bar tops and fresh paint throughout the property.

Now, Mariano and her business partner want to make even more upgrades, especially to the third and fourth floors, which are largely just used as dressing rooms.

"We would like to see someone put some money into it," she said.

Although the property is on the market, Mariano stressed she'd rather work with an investor and still run the business. An outright sale of both the property and business would only take place if the buyer agreed to keep the property open to the public, Mariano said.

"I got into it to make the Bull Mansion part of the community again," she said.
