$2M For Leominster Biz Park
A state grant will provide more than $2 million to develop the Tanzio Road Business Park in Leominster.
The money, from the Massachusetts Opportunity Relocation and Expansion Jobs Capital program, will go toward preparing the property for industrial and manufacturing companies.
The project is being developed jointly by the City of Leominster and Lisciotti Development Corp. of Leominster. It is projected to create 200 new jobs.
Planned improvements include the installation of a roadway and utilities, allowing for 88,400 square feet of new roadway pavement.
The grant is part of the Patrick-Murray Administration's Massachusetts Recovery Plan.
