Accolades & Honors

Laura Silver Traiger, a lawyer with Starr Vander Linden LLP of Worcester, was awarded a Deborah H. Thompson Advocacy Award by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Worcester's Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Nursing Care Center Accreditation. The award is given to facilities that show continuous compliance with commission standards in training, coordination of care and other categories.

Nicole Legere, a compliance officer at Leominster Credit Union, was elected to attend the Government Affairs Conference, an advocacy event for U.S. credit unions, next month. One credit union representative is selected from each state each year to attend the event in Washington, D.C.

Christine Achilles, a cafeteria staff member at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, has retired after 35 years. The school is located in Marlborough.
