Accolades & Honors

Worcester Art Museum was given a 2015 Commonwealth Award by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The museum was honored for its integration of universal design principles into its mission in ways that expand access to its collections and programs.

Dodge Park Rest Home of Worcester was selected as a “Caring Super Star” by Caring.com, a senior care website. The honor is given for service excellence based on client ratings and online reviews. It's the fourth year the facility has received the honor.

Financial advisors Thomas J. Bartholomew, Chuck Patterson, Joshua Paul and Dory Huard of Bartholomew and Co. in Worcester were named Five Star Wealth Managers by Boston Magazine. The firm is on Main Street in Worcester.

Bruce Linnehan and Brandon O'Neal — sales associates with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of Worcester — have earned accredited commercial agent designations. Both completed 50 hours of training and will continue with monthly seminars and webinars. Linnehan is a resident of Worcester; O'Neal lives in Sutton.

Worcester State University has been honored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as its "College and University" winner of the national Food Recovery Challenge. The award recognizes outstanding leadership in wasted food prevention and diversion.

TerraTherm Inc., a provider of thermal technologies based in Gardner, is one of 50 companies recently honored by Environmental Business Journal for revenue growth and project diversification. The business research publication gave TerraTherm a gold medal for business achievement among mid-sized companies, as well as a project merit award.
