BourgeoisWhite lawyer elected Worcester County Bar Association president

Worcester lawyer Robert White has been elected to serve as president-elect of the Worcester County Bar Association, the group announced last week.

White, a partner at BourgeoisWhite, PC in Worcester, has experience in all aspects of civil litigation with a concentration on complex business litigation including disputes between partners or shareholders in closely-held corporations, the association said.

He has been recognized for his participation in the association's activities on several occasions, receiving the President’s Award on three separate occasions.

White will officially take over as president from Bowditch & Dewey partner Lynette Paczkowski in September 2019. Paczkowski, another expert in business litigation and construction law, received the WBJ’s 40 Under Forty award in 2012.

At the association’s annual meeting last week, the group also elected Worcester District Register of Deeds Anthony Vigliotti to serve as secretary and treasurer.

Newly elected lawyers to the executive committee are Worcester attorneys Cassandra Arriaza, Mark Borenstein, Kathryn Calo, Terry McLaughlin and Brian Murphy. Fitchburg lawyer Nicholas Carbone and Westborough lawyer Scott Davis also made the committee.

Receiving the President’s Awards were attorneys Brian Buckley and Matthew Holmes.

Worcester Superior Court judge Janet Kenton-Walker received the association’s Judicial Excellence Award for demonstrating judicial excellence, integrity, fairness, open-mindedness, knowledge of the law, professional ethics, sound judgement, courage and decisiveness.
