Euro Mill To Use Morgan Management System

A Polish steel producer will use a system developed by Worcester's Morgan Construction Co., a Siemens VAI business, at a new mill.
CMC Zawiercie, Poland's second-largest steel producer and part of Texas-based Commercial Metals Co., will use Morgan's XpertManager system at a new mill that produces steel bars.
The new mill will be operated by XpertManager, which gives operators an overview of production and process data, controls the production process itself and facilitates the coordination of different parts of the plant.
The system can also provide plant performance data, optimize the distribution of manpower and help increase plant efficiency.
CMC has made XpertManager its official "manufacturing execution system."
