— Connecticut Business Systems, a Xerox company, opened an office in Auburn. It will mark the firm's ninth location and its third in Massachusetts. The new office is at 27 Midstate Dr., Building B. The company, headquartered in Newington, Conn., offers managed print services, software solutions, document lifecycle management and facilities management, among other services.
— Framingham-based Advocates Inc. opened the Advocates Life Skills & Learning Center at 290 Eliot St., Ashland. The center offers a wide range of support for adults with disabilities. The organization serves more than 12,000 people each year.
— Four businesses have opened up in the former Rom's building on Main Street in Sturbridge: Quality Physical Therapy; The Winebuyer's Outlet/Sturbridge Cheese and Chocolate; Teddy G's Pub & Grille; and Top Nails Spa.
