Fresh Beginnings: May 13
- As it seeks a new, permanent site in Worcester, Braman Termite and Pest Elimination is temporarily relocating to 345-A Greenwood St. in Worcester. The company has been operating from its Main Street site in Lincoln Square for years. Based in Agawam, the company is expanding and adding employees.
- Boat and marine craft repair company Full Throttle Marine and More has opened in Shrewsbury, at Rte. 20, 152 Hartford Tpke. The business is owned by Brett Marcimo.
- A new Price Chopper supermarket has opened in Webster, at 2 Worcester Rd. The 60,000-square-foot facility was designed, engineered and constructed to achieve certification in the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
- BlueHive of Worcester opened a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at its location at 7 Coppage Dr. The trade show exhibit and branded environment firm, which acquired Continental Consolidated Industries in 2009, invested $1 million in the space to house expansion efforts.
