GE Life Sciences to hold Marlborough grand opening

GE Healthcare Life Sciences will hold a grand opening of its U.S. headquarters in Marlborough on Thursday.
The grand opening of the headquarters, which moved from New Jersey, will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday and attended by Marlborough Mayor Arthur Vigeant, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center CEO Travis McCready and GE Healthcare Life Sciences CEO Kieran Murphy.
The move to Marlborough was a major win for the city, with GE estimating about 500 will be employed at the site by 2017. The division is housed in a 160,000 square foot facility.
