Grafton Credit Union CEO Resigns

Ed Lopes

Ed Lopes, the CEO at Grafton Suburban Credit Union for eight years, has resigned to take a similar role in Braintree, the financial institution announced today.

“The credit union made a lot of progress during Ed’s eight years at the helm,” said Andrew S. Nelson, the chairman of the credit union. “We wish him the best with his future endeavors.”

Next month, Lopes will become CEO at Liberty Bay Credit Union in Braintree.
While Grafton Suburban seeks a permanent appointment, Chief Financial Officer Terry Dorilas and Chief Operating Officer Martha Dean will share the duties of CEO, Nelson said.

Grafton Suburban has $125 million in assets and serves 11,000 members in Worcester and Middlesex counties.
