The Hanover Insurance Group has earned the NetVU Automation Excellence Award for the second consecutive year in recognition of its investments in innovation and commitment to independent agents.
The award is given to an insurance carrier that implements technology to help simplify processes for independent agents. For the Hanover, this meant streamlining agents' most frequent tasks while focusing on productivity and ease of use. According to the organization, Hanover Insurance dramatically enhanced its personal lines agency portal, improved its quoting and issuance process, streamlined its commercial lines referral process, continued to invest in its billing platform and is developing a new portal for specialty businesses.
The Hanover Insurance Group, based in Worcester, is the holding company for several property and casualty insurance companies.
