HealthAlliance cancer center receives $3,500

Deborah Weymouth, president and CEO of HealthAlliance Hospital. The UMass Memorial Health Care-owned community hospital received a $3,500 donation to support breast cancer patients receiving treatment at the Fitchburg campus.
The Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center in Fitchburg, part of Leominster-based HealthAlliance Hospital, received a $3,500 donation that will benefit breast cancer patients undergoing treatment.
The gift was made by the Rock the GazBar 5K in partnership with the North Medford Running Club, HealthAlliance said. The GazBar 5K is an event put on by the GazBar Sports Grill in Leominster.
