The Grafton-based Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University named ALLEN T. RUTBERG and EMILY McCOBB to new posts. Rutberg was named permanent director of the Center for Animals and Public Policy. He previously served as associate center director for education. McCobb directs the shelter medicine program at the school.

Fitchburg-based Workers' Credit Union promoted JUDY BOURGAULT and PETRA RIVERA to assistant vice presidents and regional managers, and LINDA LAGOY to vice president and senior regional manager. Bourgault, who previously managed the credit union's Orange branch, will be based in Lunenburg, and will also oversee the Lancaster office and both Leominster locations. Rivera, who previously managed the Lunenburg branch, will be based in Groton and will also oversee the Acton and Chelmsford locations. Lagoy will continue to manage the Fitchburg office as well as the Orange, Gardner, Twin City and Townsend branches.

Sundin Associates of Natick, a marketing and advertising firm, named ROGER W. SUNDIN JR. chief operating officer, KRISTIN SUNDIN BRANDT president and EDWARD J. O'DONNELL executive vice president. ROBERT C. DONNELLY, agency partner and senior vice president, will retire at the end of June. Sundin is the firm's founder. Brandt is a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton. O'Donnell graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J., with a degree in communications.

Acton-based eIQnetworks Inc. hired MICHAEL D. PAQUETTE as chief strategy officer and promoted JOHN SULLIVAN to chief operating officer. Paquette previously worked at Top Layer/Corero Network Security for 14 years in executive management roles. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Boston University. Sullivan has been with the firm since 2007.

Milford-based WMRC First Class Radio, 1490 WMRC AM, hired TIMOTHY CAOUTTE as the announcer for Milford Legion Baseball.

UniBank of Whitinsville hired KIMBERLY M. ANDERSON vice president of finance. She previously worked at Cambridge Savings Bank for two years.

Southbridge-based Savers Bank promoted PATRICIA A. GAUMOND to vice president and treasurer; LOU-ELLEN CORKUM to vice president retail banking and compliance; BARBARA L. GALE to vice president of retail sales; ROBIN IANNUCCI to vice president of deposit services and BSA officer; LAURIE A. ANDERSON to vice president mortgage operations and CRA officer; DANIEL P. KIRSCHNER to assistant vice president and residential lending specialist; and KATHY E. LECOUR to assistant vice president and residential lending specialist.

United Bank, with offices in Central Massachusetts, promoted JANE LORANGER to assistant vice president and RICHARD BUREK to network services officer. Loranger joined United in 2009, following the bank's merger with Commonwealth National Bank. An Oxford resident, she holds a bachelor's degree from Clark University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Burek joined the bank in 1998 as a computer technician, and was named help desk manager in 2005. He earned an applied science degree in information technology from Kaplan University.

Carroll Enterprises Inc. in Worcester promoted RICHARD C. NOLIN to vice president of retirement plans. He has been with the company for 15 years, previously serving as general manager of Group Health & Benefit Administrators Inc., a Carroll company. He is a graduate of Nichols College in Dudley.

Westborough-based IT consulting firm Competitive Edge Services hired DENIS FERREIRA information technology services manager. He is a graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. He lives in Wrentham.

Girls Incorporated of Worcester's CEO, DEB HOPKINS, has been promoted to director of corporate partnerships and cause-related marketing with the organization's national office in New York City. Hopkins joined Girls Inc. in 2010, working to secure STEM-related grants and other funding. A search for her successor is underway.

First Night Worcester named HOWARD McGINN executive director. He previously worked at Fleet Bank for 21 years, most recently as a senior vice president, and is co-curator of the Worcester Windows initiative. McGinn is a graduate of Worcester State University and Assumption College in Worcester.

Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group named STEPHEN KNOX executive director for planning/strategy and business support. Knox previously served as Reliant's executive director of finance. He has a bachelor's in business administration from the University of Connecticut in Storrs and an MBA in finance from the University of Hartford. Before joining Reliant, he served as director of financial operations at UMass Memorial Health Care.

The Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts elected ROBERT E. JOHNSON, president of Worcester-based Becker College, to board of trustees. The association represents 60 independent colleges and universities throughout the state.

Colonial Co-operative Bank of Gardner and Winchendon named RICHARD MORIN SR. to its board of directors. He is the owner of Morin Real Estate of Winchendon and serves as the town's moderator. He is a resident of Winchendon.
