EcoTarium of Worcester has hired Joseph P. Cox as its new president. He replaces Stephen M. Pitcher, who had been president since 2005. Cox was most recently executive director at Golisano Children's Museum of Naples, Fla., and had previously served as nature center director for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. Cox holds a degree in environmental science from St. Mary's University, London, and earned a master's degree in museum studies from the University of Leicester.

Girls Inc. hired VICTORIA WATERMAN as CEO of the Worcester-based organization. She is working part-time alongside current CEO Deb Hopkins, and will take over full time Sept. 4. Waterman is a former Girls Inc. board president and has a diverse background in the banking industry.

Worcester-based Estate Preservation Law Offices appointed CAROL F. BARTON as associate attorney. She most recently worked at Elder and Disability Law Advocates. She holds a doctorate from New England School of Law and a master's degree from Western New England College School of Law. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts.

The Colleges of Worcester Consortium elected JACK P. CALARESO, president of Anna Maria College, as chair of the board of directors. Calareso has served as president of Anna Maria College since 2007. Also elected to serve on the board for two-year terms: Vice Chair: ROBERT E. JOHNSON, president, Becker College; Past Chair: GAIL E. CARBERRY, president, Quinsigamond Community College; Treasurer: ANDREA MICHAELS, vice president for budget and planning, Clark University; Clerk: DAVIS BAIRD, provost and vice president for academic affairs, Clark University.

Acton-based SeaChange International appointed DAVID McEVOY as general counsel. McEvoy is general counsel of several public and private companies, including ATG (acquired by Oracle), and VeriFone Systems (acquired by GTCR). He earned his doctorate from Boston University School of Law, a master's in economics from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and bachelor's degrees in political science and Spanish literature from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

PATRICK J. TIVNAN of Worcester was hired as project manager for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. His responsibility will include elderly and handicap developments in Worcester and Boston. Tivnan was previously CEO of Carolina Investments, with offices in North and South Carolina.

Marlborough-based Sepaton Inc. hired KEVIN SHEA as senior vice president of engineering. Before joining Sepaton, he served as vice president of engineering for several high-tech companies. Most recently, Shea was principal group manager of the technical computing team at Microsoft, following the acquisition of Interactive Supercomputing. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, and a master's in computer science from Boston University.

Worcester-based Fidelity Bank hired TANIA THOMAS as vice president/small business relationship manager. She has previously held business and retail banking positions at Millbury Federal Credit Union, Citizens Bank, Commerce Bank and Sovereign Bank.

Clinton Savings Bank's vice president/compliance and security officer, THOMAS J. TUNIEWICZ, was named chairperson of the advisory council for the Center for Financial Training's Bankers Forum. Tuniewicz has been with Clinton Savings Bank since 2010. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine at Fort Kent and a master's degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton. He is a resident of Southbridge.

Worcester State University appointed FRANK HALL and CHARLES FOX as academic deans and PATRICIA MARSHALL as interim associate vice president for academic affairs. Hall was named dean of the School of Education, Health and Natural Sciences. He has a doctorate in geological oceanography from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. He was most recently director of the Secondary STEM Education Program at Texas A & M University in Commerce. Fox was named dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has a doctorate in perceptual and sensory psychology/behavioral neuroscience from Brandeis University in Waltham and a doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. He was most recently dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Point Park University and also served as an associate dean at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kan. Marshall has a Ph.D. in Hispanic studies from Brown University in Providence. She was most recently chair of the world languages department at Worcester State.

Medway-based exercise-equipment manufacturer Cybex International hired KENNETH KUPERSTEIN as director of marketing, planning and development. He was most recently a marketing consultant for the Rockport Co., a division of the Adidas Group. He has a bachelor's degree in advertising from Syracuse University in New York and an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley.

Greenhouse Car Wash in Oxford hired JESSICA S. WOODACRE as director of marketing. She previously worked at Expo Productions as an administrative intern.

Spencer Bank elected STEPHEN F. WENTZELL as a permanent director on its board of investment and elected JOSPEPH N. STOLBERG a director. Wentzell is chief financial officer of Coghlin Construction Services Inc. in Worcester. He has a bachelor's degree from Nichols College in Dudley and a master's degree from Bentley College in Waltham. Stolberg is founder and managing partner of Stolberg, Ebbeling & Blanchette LLP in Worcester. A CPA, he has a degree in accounting from Babson College in Wellesley.

Webster Five promoted JOHN DALOMBA to vice president–credit department manager. He joined the bank in 2006 as assistant vice president–credit officer. DaLomba is a graduate of Rhode Island College in Providence and has an MBA from Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. He lives in Uxbridge.

Worcester-based Fidelity Bank hired YAMILETT FLORES SICKLES as vice president and home loan specialist. She previously worked at Avidia Bank in Shrewsbury and Northborough. Sickles has a bachelor's from Assumption College in Worcester.

Worcester-based Bay State Savings Bank hired JAYME BURDETT as assistant vice president and branch manager at its 378 Burncoat St. location. He was most recently a branch manager for Bank of America. He has a bachelor's degree from North Adams State College. Burdett lives in Charlton.

Curtis Industries in Worcester hired SCOTT NELSON as CEO and president, to succeed John Rachwalski, who is retiring. Nelson was most recently president of Europe, Middle East and Asia for Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment.

The Maynard-based VHS Collaborative, a K-12 online learning nonprofit, promoted DEBBIE KENNY to vice president of sales and marketing. Kenny joined VHS in 2011 as the department's director. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley and has an MBA in high technology from Northeastern University in Boston.

Marlborough-based Sepaton Inc. hired MARIE O'BRIEN as vice president of federal sales. Prior to joining Sepaton, O'Brien founded and managed Clifton Advisors LLC, a management consulting firm. She has also held senior management positions at a number of organizations, including ClearEdge Power, VMware and Sun Microsystems.

Westborough-based Keller Williams Realty hired JIM KEENAN as team leader and CEO for Keller Williams Realty Greater Westborough. He previously owned and operated Red Cork Realty in Acton. n
