Paxton-based Anna Maria College has hired YVONNIE MALCOLM as controller. She joins AMC from Atlantic Union College in Lancaster where she served as the college’s interim vice president for finance. Prior to that time, she held the position of comptroller. STEPHEN NEUN has joined the college as the new dean of academic affairs. He previously served as assistant vice president for academic affairs and dean for the School of Graduate and Extended Studies at Utica College.

The Training Associates, headquartered in Westborough, has hired SCOTT MILLER and JOHN LAVERDURE to join the company’s sales staff. Miller has more than 23 years of sales experience and most recently he was selling in the manufacturing outsourcing and commercial finance markets. Laverdure has more than 10 years of sales expertise.

Atlas Travel International in Milford has added MIMI CLEARY to staff as vice president of corporate service. Prior to joining Atlas, Cleary worked for a number of leading agencies. She received her degree in communications and art history from Tulane University.

TARA TOKARZ EGAN has been named director of operations for Briarwood Continuing Care Retirement Community in Worcester. She comes to Briarwood from Golden Living Center where she was executive director.

Bowditch & Dewey LLP in Worcester has added DON J.J. CORDELL as a partner in the Framingham office. Cordell’s law practice is primarily concentrated in the areas of estate planning and related tax counseling, asset protection planning, business and corporate law and trademark matters. Prior to joining Bowditch & Dewey, he was a shareholder and partner at the Wellesley-based law firm of Seegel Lipshutz & Wilchins. Also joining the law firm is VINCENT DEVITO as a partner in the Boston office. He is an energy and climate change attorney who brings his international expertise from Pepper Hamilton’s New York office.

STEPHEN E. REIDER has joined Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester as the nursing director of psychiatry. Reider graduated from St. Elizabeth’s College of Nursing in New York.

MARGARET MOTYKA has been appointed director of quality management and education for Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester. She most recently served as director of the associate of science in nursing program at Anna Maria College in Paxton.

The Massachusetts Community Development Finance Corp. has named ROBERT ROSEN as its new senior loan officer. Rosen, who joined CDFC as its Central Massachusetts loan officer in April of 2007, will be responsible for coordinating CDFC’s statewide lending program.

Leominster Credit Union has made the following promotions: SANDRA COLLINS has been promoted to regional branch manager and has been with LCU since 2001; JENNIFER GOING has been appointed branch manager of the Sterling office and has been with the credit union since 2003; MARYANN TIVNAN was named branch manager of the Worcester branch; JULIE BERGSTRAND was appointed an officer, in addition to her role as mortgage department manager, and has been with LCU for more than 20 years; and ANN YOUNIE, senior technology analyst, was also appointed an officer.

NIRAV PATEL has been appointed general manager of Urethane Processing Corp. of America in Peabody, a subsidiary of Sturbridge-based G&F Industries. Patel brings more than eight years experience in the liquid silicone molding industry. Prior to joining UPCOA Patel operated an engineering consulting business, SiO LLC.

Worcester-based Cutler Associates has named JOHN ALMY to the position of business development manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing within the construction and commercial real estate industries.

Becker College in Worcester announced several appointments: TOM MITCHELL was named interim chief financial officer; FRANCINE FINK has been named dean of accelerated and professional studies; and ARNI ARNTHORSSON was named faculty coordinator.

Auburn-based R.H. White Construction Co. has hired LEE RANSOM as business development manager, northern region. He comes to R.H. White with more than 20 years experience in natural gas distribution in the areas of field operations, corrosion control, engineering, and sales/project management.

RANDI NICHOLS, a human resources executive at Worcester-based Fallon Clinic, has been named chairman of the Human Resources Leadership Council for the American Medical Group Association. Nichols has been on the council for three years and was the council’s chair-elect.
