Nichols College Hires Online Programs Director
Nichols College of Dudley has hired Laura M. Yahn as director of online programs at its graduate and professional studies office.
In her new position, she will help faculty develop strategies and skills to teach online courses.
Yahn moves to Nichols from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she developed training programs to help faculty and staff use course management systems and other new technologies. She has also worked for the Indiana Institute of Technology, the University of Connecticut at Storrs, Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana and Harvard Business School Publishing.
Yahn has a bachelor's degree in English from Bates College in Maine and a master's in educational technology from Purdue University in Indiana.
She lives in Southbridge with her husband Robb.
