CHARITY ON COURSE - Worcester-based Fallon Health is donating $167,000 to food pantries across the state, raised through its annual Golf & Gather FORE a Cause event. The event had 144 golfers and 78 sponsors. Since 2006, Fallon has raised and donated more than $1 million dollars to support hunger relief programs.
HARVEST HELP - Employees of Worcester-based Commerce Bank participated in the United Way of Central Massachusetts’s annual Day of Caring, spending the day at the Prospect Hill Farm in Harvard, picking apples for the Community Harvest Project. DOUBLE DOSE OF DONATIONS - Marlborough Hospital Auxiliary donated checks for $3,000 and $2,500, respectively, to Marlborough Hospital and Auxiliary’s Flea Market. Holiday Inn Boxborough, Middlesex Savings Bank and Emerson Hospital were main sponsors of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce Dash and Bash 5K, to benefit the chamber scholarship fund.

MutualOne Bank in Framingham donated $5,000 to help purchase up to 10 additional classroom Apple iPads at Marian High School in Framingham.

UniBank of Whitinsville donated $5,000 to a courtyard renovation project at Hopkinton Middle School.
