The dedication recognized the long-time service and generosity of the Becker family to the Nichols community. Becker Market, as it is now officially titled, promotes a more independent lifestyle for college seniors preparing to enter the job market. Pictured are the members of the Herman F. Photo/Courtesy Rollstone Bank & Trust, with locations throughout North Central Massachusetts, recently donated $2,000 to the Leominster Fire Department in support of its “Project Lifesaver” initiative. “Project Lifesaver” is a program that helps firefighters to find people with autism, should they run away from their secure living arrangements. The event raised $25,000 to support the nonprofit's out-of-school programming. Photo/Courtesy The Boomer Esiason Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis recently received a $200,000 donation from the DCU For Kids, a nonprofit charitable foundation of the Digital Federal Credit Union in Marlborough. This marked the fifth year that the credit union's foundation has donated to the cystic fibrosis foundation. The money was raised through the credit union's recent 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Pictured is former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, playing catch with golf tournament attendees.
